Awards Summary
Gerry Lebsack Award
This award is intended to
recognize Service Members for their citizenship, service, leadership and
contribution to the Residential Property Management Industry. This award
celebrates the significant accomplishments made by an individual, or
deserving business from within the service sector, who have rendered a
service of the greatest distinction and of singular excellence for, or on
behalf of the residents of Calgary.
Recipients of this award come from all sectors of the Residential Property Management Industry. Their careers range from suppliers of products or services to the industry, distributors, professional associates, institutional representatives. The only thing all recipients have in common is that they are all within the Residential Property Management Industry and have made an outstanding civic or provincial impact. Its about recognizing Calgarians who have made a difference, who have given special or meritorious service to the industry, who have served Calgarians with excellence and distinction, and whose contributions will stand the test of time.
The individual must work and live in Calgary and his or her company must be publicly traded or privately held, local, regional, national or international in scope, but must be based in Calgary.
Lifetime Achievement Award
This award is intended
to recognize those individuals who have been members of the Calgary
Apartment Association for five years or more. These members will have made
a significant contribution to the Calgary Apartment Association through
their leadership, dedication and commitment. Their involvement has had a
positive impact on the growth and successful operation of the Association.
They have unselfishly given of themselves to enhance and promote the
Calgary Apartment Association.
Safe City Award
This award recognizes serving
police officers who provide guidance, advice, assistance and leadership to
the residential property management industry in crime prevention thereby
creating a safer environment for owners, managers and tenants.
Customer Service Award
This award recognizes
individuals or companies who excel in their respective area of business by
continually providing outstanding service to the building owners and
managers they serve.
Tenant Service Award
This award will recognize
customer-focused owners/property managers who provide quality customer
service to their tenants on an on-going basis.
Building of the Year Award
This award will
recognize owners/managers for the performance of their duties related to
the overall management and maintenance of their buildings.
There shall be four classifications of buildings:
- 1 - 12 units
- 13 - 49 units
- 50 - 100 units
- 101 + units
