The Calgary Apartment Association’s 8th annual Award’s Gala was another huge success. It was held on April 12th, 2007 at a new location, the Deerfoot Inn & Casino in the Sundance Ballroom. Tim Sommer was our MC again this year and did a fantastic job at keeping us all entertained with his great sense of humor.

We were all able to enjoy great entertainment put on by Toshi Jackson (aka Diana Ross) and the Supremes. It was full of dancing and laughter. The first award presented was the Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes individuals who have been CAA members for over 5 years and have made a significant contribution to the CAA through their leadership, dedication and commitment and have unselfishly given of themselves to enhance and promote the CAA. The recipient was Roger Brooks, of Homebase Media, Home Renter’s Guide . Although Roger is extremely busy he always manages to make time to help the CAA. Roger is an ardent supporter of our organization, always ensuring that his company regularly contributes door prizes and giveaways at our monthly luncheons and other major events through out the year.
